So We took retribution from them, and indeed, they both (were) on a highway clear.

So We took vengeance on them; and surely the two of them were indeed on an evident record (or: register, literally:Imam)
We afflicted them with punishment. Both people had clear (divine) authority among them
So, We punished them in retribution, and both of them are (situated) by a highway, clearly visible
And so Our just Law of Requital struck them. And, behold, these both communities lived by a highway, to this day plain to see
We breathed vengeance upon them. Those (two settlements) existed on the main travel routes
So, We gave their due (punishment) to them. They were both on an open highway, plain to see
So We took retribution from them, and indeed, both [cities] are on a clear highway
So, We sought revenge from them. And they were both on an open plain
and We took retribution on them; both are still there on the highway, plain for all to see
So We took vengeance on them. And verily both are on a high-road open
So We punished them too. They are both situated by the highway, clearly visible
We took revenge on them as well. They are both beside a well-beaten track.
So We inflicted Our retribution on them (which they deserved), and both (of these sinful communities) lived by a highway plain to see
So We took vengeance on them, and indeed the two of them are on an open highway
And We took vengeance on them, and, verily, they were both on an open highway, plain to see
And We took revenge from them, and they are both on a visible road
So We took retribution from them. They were both on an open highway, plain to see
so We took vengeance on them, and both towns remain easily visible off an open highway.
So We chastised them. The desolate locations of both communities lie on a well-known highway
So,We sought revenge from them. And they are in a clear ledger.
So We avenged them, and they are both, indeed, on an open road
Then We took vengeance on them; and no doubt both these towns lie on a manifest way.
Consequently, we avenged from them, and both communities are fully documented.
On them, too, We took vengeance, and they are both on a clear roadway
So We inflicted retribution on them. And they are both on an open high road
So We revenged from them that they (B) truly (the two nations) are with a clear/evident leader/example (E)
They too were subjected to my punishment. Their ruins are also available for sightseeing
We therefore took revenge from them; and indeed both these townships are situated on an open road
So WE chastised them also. And they both lie on an open highway
So We avenged Ourselves on them (as well), and (archeological remains of) both these (towns still exist) on the highway
Therefore We inflicted punishment on them; and (the ruins of) both their cities (-the city of Sodomites and the city of Aikah) lie indeed on the open highway (traversed by the caravans from Hijaz to Syria)
So, We took vengeance on them. They are both on an open highway, plain to see
and We took vengeance on them. The two of them were upon a roadway manifest
Wherefore We took vengeance on them. And both of them were destroyed, to serve as a manifest rule for men to direct their actions by
and we took vengeance on them, and, verily, they both are for an obvious example

On them, too, We took vengeance, and made of both a manifest example
We punished them. They certainly were all on a major highway, plain to see.
so We avenged Ourself on them. Both are a clear indication. (VI)

Because of this We made them live the painful consequence of their deeds! Both are situated in places clearly observable.
So We inflicted retribution on them and they are both, indeed, on a roadway manifest (in front of your eyes) .
And in consequence we took just-vengeance on them and both sites stand manifest of the events on a course of travel where people can see
so We inflicted retribution on them and certainly, both (the cities) are on the open road (seen) clearly.
